Confidence Killers

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 2:13-19 - Paul's Ministry in Thesalonica & Paul's Longing to See the Thessalonians
Principle: Our confidence grows in proportion to our response to God's Word.
Barriers that kill confidence:
Hostility from People. (v. 14-16)
People closest to you reject you for wanting to implement His Word into our lives.
God calls for us to persevere in His Word.
Unfulfilled desires (v.17)
Not only what has happened to us, but also what doesn’t happen to us.
They can cause us to doubt God.

God wants us to look to His promises.
Spiritual Attack (v. 18)
We need to make a distinction between what Satan instigates and what he aggravates.
